Mechanical properties include tensile strength of 80,000–85,000 psi, yield strength of 55,000–60,000 psi, and elongation of 30–35%. Weld deposits offer toughness, ductility, and corrosion resistance in oxidizing environments. With excellent weld pool control and a smooth finish, ER308LSi is well-suited for both MIG and TIG welding, especially in automated systems where bead appearance and consistency are crucial.
