Lecong Stainless, Da Nang, Vietnam, is a reliable producer and distributor of precision-engineered stainless steel parts, including high-quality Stainless Steel U Tubes. These tubes are made specifically for application in heat exchangers, condensers, and boilers, where compact and efficient heat transfer is critical. Made from the highest quality stainless steel and the latest bending technology, Lecong’s U tubes provide tight radii, consistent wall thickness, and high corrosion and pressure resistance. Adhering strictly to world standards and customer requirements, Lecong Stainless provides U tubes that are the appropriate answer to the stringent needs of power generation, petrochemical, and marine engineering applications.
Stainless Steel U Tubes are typically manufactured using austenitic stainless steel grades such as 304, 316, 321, and 347, with good corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. These tubes consist of 18–20% chromium, 8–13% nickel based on the grade, and trace elements like molybdenum or titanium to improve performance. Mechanically, they have tensile strengths ranging from 500–750 MPa and yield strengths of 200–400 MPa. The material possesses excellent ductility, thermal conductivity, and dimensional stability upon thermal cycling. U tubes are accurately cold-formed or hot-bent, producing stress-free bends and outstanding performance in heat exchanger loops.

Client satisfaction by all means forms the top priority with regard to the quality of our Stainless Steel U Tubes. In pursuit of this objective, all our products are given stringent quality assurance regime, which includes hardness tests, chemical analysis by way of spectro analysis, positive material identification (PMI), flattening tests, micro and macro tests, pitting resistance tests, flaring tests and intergranular corrosion (IGC) tests.
To maintain Stainless Steel U Tubes, regularly clean them with mild soap and water to remove dirt and grime. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners. Inspect for signs of corrosion or damage and address any issues promptly.
Yes, Stainless Steel U Tubes can be welded using appropriate techniques like TIG or MIG welding. Ensure proper surface preparation and use compatible filler materials for optimal strength and corrosion resistance.
Stainless Steel U Tubes are highly resistant to corrosion due to their chromium content. However, under extreme conditions like exposure to harsh chemicals or saltwater, corrosion can still occur over time.
Yes, Stainless Steel U Tubes can be used for natural gas applications. They offer excellent corrosion resistance and durability, making them suitable for handling natural gas in various industrial systems.
Stainless Steel U Tubes find extensive application in industries needing compact and efficient heat transfer solutions. They are used in steam condensers and feedwater heaters in power plants and thermal stations. In refining and petrochemical processes, U tubes are a part of shell-and-tube heat exchangers for processing fluids under high pressures and temperatures. In the shipbuilding and marine industries, they enable seawater-cooled systems because of their resistance to corrosion. They are used in refrigeration systems, food processing, and pharmaceuticals where hygiene, toughness, and resistance to thermal expansion are essential for long-term and safe operation.
