These fittings are made up of 17–19% chromium, 9–12% nickel, and titanium stabilizers, with the 321H variant featuring a higher carbon content for enhanced creep strength and heat resistance. They show remarkable resistance to oxidation at temperatures up to 1500°F (816°C) and maintain their mechanical stability even under prolonged thermal exposure. Their mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, a yield strength of around 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. This unique composition ensures they remain tough, durable, and resistant to corrosion, even when subjected to fluctuating thermal cycles, making them perfect for high-stress and elevated-temperature applications.
