Lecong Stainless Manufacturer and Suppliers in Da Nang, Vietnam, provides quality stainless steel welding consumables, including Alloy 309LMo SAW wire and flux. This wire is designed for welding stainless steels that require better corrosion resistance. It contains molybdenum, which improves resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. The low-carbon design minimizes carbide precipitation, ensuring strong weld integrity under corrosive conditions. When used with suitable flux, Alloy 309LMo provides excellent arc stability, high deposition efficiency, and a smooth weld bead appearance. Lecong Stainless supplies this SAW wire and flux solution to industries in Vietnam and around the world, ensuring reliable welds in critical, corrosion-sensitive environments.
Alloy 309LMo SAW wire typically contains around 23% chromium, 13% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and ≤0.03% carbon. This composition offers strong corrosion resistance, especially against chlorides and reducing acids. Mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 80,000–85,000 psi, a yield strength of approximately 55,000–60,000 psi, and an elongation of 30–35%. The addition of molybdenum improves resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Weld deposits made with the right flux exhibit toughness, oxidation resistance, and durability in high-temperature environments. This wire performs reliably in submerged arc welding for stainless steel structures and overlays that face challenging operating conditions.
