Stainless Steel 13-8 PH Bar falls under the precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel with major composition of 13% chromium and 8% nickel with addition of aluminum, molybdenum, and reduced carbon. The alloy has good strength, toughness, and stress corrosion cracking resistance. It has tensile strength of as high as 1450 MPa after heat treatment and yield strength of approximately 1250 MPa with excellent hardness and ductility. The controlled composition enables high mechanical performance in transverse and longitudinal directions.
