Lecong Stainless Manufacturer and Suppliers in Da Nang, Vietnam, offers premium welding materials, including AWS Class E308/308H-16 electrodes. These electrodes are well-known for their excellent weldability, corrosion resistance, and reliability when joining stainless steels. They are optimized for welding 18Cr-8Ni austenitic stainless steels, ensuring smooth arc characteristics, minimal spatter, and effective slag removal. The “H” grade provides enhanced creep strength at high temperatures. Lecong Stainless follows strict international quality standards, delivering products trusted across the chemical, food processing, and petrochemical industries, establishing itself as a reliable partner for high-performance stainless welding electrodes in Vietnam and beyond.
AWS Class E308/308H-16 electrodes contain about 20% chromium and 10% nickel, with low carbon in the 308 grade and controlled higher carbon in the 308H grade. This balance offers excellent resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and cracking. Mechanical properties include a tensile strength of around 80,000 psi, a yield strength near 60,000 psi, and around 35% elongation. The weld deposit offers good toughness and creep resistance at elevated temperatures. Both 308 and 308H electrodes provide stable arcs, smooth bead finishes, and reliable weld strength, making them suitable for various stainless steel fabrication and repair tasks.

Light-coated electrodes are ideal for welding 18-8 austenitic stainless steel, offering smooth weld beads with minimal slag formation. Available in sizes ranging from 3/32″ to 5/32″ in diameter, they are suited for applications where easy slag removal is essential.
Heavy-coated electrodes provide enhanced slag control and stable arc characteristics, making them suitable for high-heat applications. These electrodes come in sizes from 3/32″ to 5/32″ in diameter and are ideal for out-of-position welding due to their robust coating.
Shielded arc electrodes offer high weld quality with reduced spatter, making them excellent for shielded arc welding. Available in sizes ranging from 3/32″ to 5/32″ in diameter, they provide superior arc stability and slag detachability, resulting in cleaner welds.
We guarantee quality products such as AWS Class E308/308H-16 Electrodes that consistently pass all tests, such as hardness testing, spectro analysis, PMI, flaring tests, macro and micro tests, pitting resistance, and IGC tests. We ensure all documentation requirements such as commercial invoices, packaging lists, Certificate of Origin, and Third-Party Inspection Certificates to ensure the finest quality and satisfaction of our valued customers.
AWS Class E308/308H-16 electrodes are widely used in industries where stainless steel welding needs durability and corrosion resistance. They are commonly used to weld Type 304 and 304H stainless steels, suitable for food processing equipment, dairy plants, breweries, and chemical tanks. The 308H grade is preferred in high-temperature service due to its enhanced creep strength. Applications include heat exchangers, boiler components, piping systems, and refinery equipment. Lecong Stainless supplies these electrodes in Da Nang and internationally, ensuring industries benefit from high-quality, reliable welds in general fabrication and specialized high-temperature environments.
